Though the meadows were delightful, they were still not that comforting as the Elysium Fields as she had come to affectionately know it. But more than just the fields, the ocean was a good part of her joy as a place to enjoy herself, and to take in the view of the vast waters that stretched out beyond the horizon. She often wondered what was out there... beyond the horizon waters.
The sands of the north shore felt warm as he hooves sank into it. This was also a good place of exercise as well for her at least. And so with a great burst of energy and delight, she tossed her head and lept as she bound across the sandy shoreline, the waves breaking and washing ashore while she was racing across the edge of the waterline as it came in and out, in and out. The sound of the breaking waves was a grand roar that seemed to drive her almost like a pounding drum providing a rhythm that matched her pounding heart.
It was nice to have met Belle, to have the thrill of experiencing a moment like with her and the Wolves. She definitely did not like the wolves and now would not venture back to those Meadows. She valued her life, and the lives of others, to even contemplate such an adventure again. She learned her lesson. She'll not make that mistake again.
Oh, now, let's not think about that dreadful place. We are in the here and now, ... enjoy it!
And so, that is what she was now doing as she ran along the shoreline, closing her eyes as she felt the sand beneath her hooves while hearing the breaking of the waves in sync with the pounding of her heart.
How could this possibly get better?
