oh baby, you're a classic like a little black dress you're a faded moon stuck on a little hot mess The brush crackled and bent beneath his weight as he strolled through the jungle casually, his light amythest eyes peering over the surrounded foresty with calm ease. At his side, his okapi companion huffed, looking around them as well boredly. "Xerox, there's nothing here." He pointed out to the massive horse, his head stretching out to snag a few leaves off a nearby branch, chewing and swallowing before continuing. "Except a buffet. Why are we here?" The bay unicorn sighed, his head lowered to look the okapi in the eye as he responded. "I wanted to explore. We haven't been this way before." The voice rumbled from deep in his chest, like a mountain was speaking, and the okapi nodded. He supposed that was a good enough reason.
ooc; its 2 in the morning and my brain is dead, i swear my posts are usually better than this. i just wanted to get this started <3

I'VE TAKEN HITS LIKE A BROTHER but i'm getting back up again -----------------------------------------------------------
STORY grunted as he crashed through the jungle. he made as much noise as he possibly could. his blue eyes flashed dully as he surveyed the plant life around him. his tail snapped against his side as a single bug landed and nipped him. he snorted in annoyance at being in the god forsaken place. he really hated it.
THE stallion slowed him movements and stopped his noise making when he heard two voices. one was softer and he couldn't make out what was being said. then he heard a booming voice answer. he plucked a few words from what was said. nothing that could piece together much. making a snarling sound, he started towards where he though the voices where coming from.
WHEN he spotted the pair, he smirked. a unicorn that spent his time with other animals? charming. smirking, he came around the pair and walked to the unicorn's side. and what do we have here? he questioned with a slight hiss.
OOC; its all good. this one is pretty crappy

oh baby, you're a classic like a little black dress you're a faded moon stuck on a little hot mess He knew the stranger was coming towards him – there was no effort to hide the crashings of brush and limbs of trees being bent before the weight of another horse. No jungle creature would move with such noise, so it had to be a horse, and so the only thing to do was wait for it to reveal who it might be. It doesn’t take long for that to happen, and soon enough a mostly alabaster stag reveals himself, marked only by bay markings splashed upon his body at random. His throat catches at the sight, his mind’s eye seeing a gangly colt with those markings and the tiniest stump of a horn, but this can’t be Him. Story wouldn’t hiss like a Nyx when greeting him, nor would he be such an asshole.
”I don’t know.” He answered calmly, vibrant amethyst eyes looking over the other stallion. His voice was still that deep bass, like thunder rumbling down the mountain, produced deep in his chest and vibrating in the air between them as though it had a mass of its own. ”Do you have a name, stranger?” He asks softly, shifting a little as his ears prick forward, his horn narrowly missing piercing a vine that swings above his head. He can’t rid himself of that feeling like he knows this horse, but its impossible. Story is naught but a ghost of his heart now – he’s likely found someone else by now, found himself a home and a family. Someone to love him without being chased away like a leper.

THE two toned stallion stared at the other stallion before him. his bay coat with his dark points and pale face woke memory in the back of his mind yet he couldn't quite place it. the slight recognition itched at his brain. a stallion such as the one before him would not be easily forgettable. his coloring was not one someone would come across very often. not unlike his own tovero pelt.
WHEN the other stallion spoke, the voice registered slightly in his mind. the itch was turning into a very pestering poke as he tried to figure things out. oh don't play stupid briel. it's really not becoming for you, story sneered. he stared at the stallion, his flat blue eyes boring into the other's filled-with-life amethyst eyes.
STORY continued to study the bay in front of him, trying to figure out why he seamed familiar. he was certain he had come across the stallion before him at some point. it was a nagging feeling that was really driving him insane. normally things didn't bother him like this was.
HIS one colored and other devoid of color audits flatted against his skull when the stallion spoke again. he was growing tired of the briel in front of him. and why would i share something like that with you? he snarled as the bay's head moved and almost cause his horn to impale a vine growing above him. that's when it hit him why this stallion looked so familiar to him. wanting to test to see if he could possibly be right, he looked at the other, forcing them to lock their gazes together once more. stranger is naught what i am.
ooc; my muse is pretty much dead. sorry for the horribleness that this post is D:

oh baby, you're a classic like a little black dress you're a faded moon stuck on a little hot mess He raised a calm eyebrow at the other stallion, the thought that he knew this horse itching within his brain. "I don't play stupid, Nyx." He stated simply, keeping his eyes fixed on the emotionless sapphire eyes. Playing stupid was for fools, something he tended to think he was not. "It is simple as to what you have here. A stallion and his familiar exploring. Nothing more, nothing less." Xander, who had been grazing up to that point, glanced up and flicked his ears at the massive stallion, silently asking to be left out of this conversation. The okapi was not a fighter in any way, but he was useful as a messenger and as a friend. "Go ahead, Xander." He rumbled reassuringly. The okapi nodded before running off, and he turned his attention back to his conversation with the painted stallion.
"It is usually considered polite to give your name." He pointed out easily, side-stepping with heavy steps to avoid becoming entangled in the vine above. "My name is Xerox, for instance." As their gazes locked and the others words were spoken, he found he suddenly knew who this stallion was. He knew, and felt joy bubbling in his massive chest as the fact he had found him once more. "Not a stranger, then." He murmured, keeping their locked stare. "But perhaps a Story... my Story?"
